**About Us**:
Join one of Canada’s largest rock excavation contractors specializing in drilling and blasting operations. Scopes of work include construction and mining projects of every size and complexity in locations across Canada.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules and oversee the complete lifecycle of project execution.
- Coordinate with RCMI’s operations, maintenance, and administrative teams to ensure projects are completed effectively.
- Continually monitor and assess project risks and actively implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage, track, and report on project schedules, costs, and revenues.
- Review and interpret contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance.
- Manage changes to contracts and negotiate variations as needed.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager to forecast and allocate personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Optimize resource utilization to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain the document control system for a project.
- Demonstrate leadership in safety and uphold RCMI’s safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with RCMI’s health, safety, and environment procedures and applicable industry regulations.
- Implement, maintain, and track quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and address any deviations from quality standards promptly.
- Serve as clients' primary point of contact, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Foster positive client relationships to secure future business opportunities.
- Provide input to the estimator in developing accurate project costs, execution plans, and schedules.
- Work with the RCMI senior management team to advance the company’s business strategy.

- Advanced computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD programs.

- Good rapport with customers and service-oriented.
- Knowledge of OHS and Mining Regulations is considered an asset.
- The position is local to Kamloops, but travel will be required to specific projects outside of the area within Canada.
- Valid Driver’s License
**Desired Education**:
- Engineering Degree or Diploma
- Preferred areas of study: Mining, Civil, Construction Management
- PMI training is considered an asset
**Desired experience**:
- Civil 3D MinePlan 3D, or similar
- Microsoft Project or similar
- Drilling and Blasting
- Mining
- Civil Construction - earthworks/infrastructure

Pay: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
