**REPORTS TO**

Technical Inside Sales Supervisor

**SUMMARY**

The Technical Sales Counter Representative is responsible for a wide variety of clerical store duties in support of company sales goals.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1.** **Store Operation & Customer Service**
- Greet walk-in customers to the store in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Assist customers with their product requirements.
- Build hydraulic and pneumatic hose assemblies utilizing the provided tools, equipment, and training.
- Pick, pack and ship orders and transfers.
- Maintain store stock levels and product displays.
- Maintain a neat, inviting and safe store.
- Actively participate in development training provided by the company and vendors.
- Provide complete accurate information to other supporting department such as Purchasing, Credit and technical services.
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Warehouse**
- Follow guidelines for safe warehouse access and operation of machinery.

**3.** **Inside Sales**
- Order entry and expediting.
- Quote entry and follow up.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

- Moderate physical Activity
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

**2.** _**Mental Demands**_
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Able to work in a high paced environment when called upon.
- Emotional Intelligence

**REQUIREMENTS**

**2.** _**Educational/ Experience Requirement**_
- Mechanical and technical education and/or proven experience in hydraulics and or pneumatics.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.
- Strong customer service orientation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
