**Job Summary**
The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of the company's fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment. This role involves ensuring that all vehicles are in optimal working condition, managing repair schedules, and leading a team of mechanics and technicians. The Fleet Manager plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

**Duties**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including scheduling maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee a team of mechanics and technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts.
- Collaborate with vendors to procure necessary parts and services for fleet maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding vehicle operation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Train staff on proper vehicle operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Obtain and manage wide load permits
- Securing special trip permits

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and practices.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including cranes and other machinery.
- Familiarity with schematics related to vehicle systems and components.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to address and resolve issues quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and vendors.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 44 per week
