At our facility in Southport, Manitoba, we support the Royal Canadian Airforce (RCAF) by providing state-of-the-art Pilot training.

**JOB OVERVIEW**

A Ground Handler position is an ideal job for individuals interested in being involved in the aviation industry but have no formal education or training. As a term position with a competitive wage, this is also a great opportunity for a summer job for college student.

The Ground Handler is responsible for the towing and grooming of company aircraft that are used for flight training by the RCAF.

Details:

- Towing aircraft in compliance with all company operating and safety procedures.
- Assisting with the fueling of aircraft as required.
- Washing and grooming of aircraft.
- Assisting mechanics with general hangar maintenance.
- Communicating effectively with all points of contact throughout shift.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Valid Manitoba Driver’s License.
- Grade 12 graduate preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Works well within a team as well as unsupervised.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to communicate in a professional manner.
- Physically fit and able to carry up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work a rotating shift including days, afternoons, evenings and some weekends.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Works and Government Services Enhanced Reliability Clearance.
