Reporting to the Senior manager - Underground long-term planning, the Manager is responsible for the delivery of Strategic Planning, Reserve and Resource reporting and progressing the project pipeline (delivery of scoping, prefeasibility and feasibility studies) to achieve sustainable and value objectives. Working with the site medium term teams, this role will also be required to deliver optimal long term plans.

The role requires underground technical and financial expertise to identify, prioritise and deliver performance improvements, generate asset growth and integrate emerging technologies into life of mine plans to deliver on ESG and financial targets. Close collaboration and effective communication with the site and functional teams will be required to maintain alignment between the planning horizons. The role requires a leader who will drive a high-performance culture, ensure timely delivery of quality work and use their influence across various disciplines and levels within the Business to facilitate engagement and decision making. He/she will work a schedule of 5 days on, 2 days off, and will be required to work both from home and from the Montreal office, with occasional visits to the Windfall site. Transportation, accomodation and meals provided when traveling to the site.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES**
- Lead, manage and deliver the Reserve and Resource, Strategic Planning and Studies process for the underground operation.
- Prepare and deliver strategic plans which align with the regional and operation’s strategic vision. Identify and progress strategic projects which support this vision and demonstrate the potential these investments represent to achieve full value from the Operation.
- Prepare and deliver the annual Reserve and Resource reporting to SK1300 and SAMREC requirements including the technical and financial work to support inclusion. Identify and actively work to replace and grow the Reserve base and extend the life of mine.
- Maintain an active involvement with peers and site and functional personnel to enable the planning function to meet the needs of the operations and ensure appropriate personnel are routinely updated on the status of work and input is sought where required.
- Ensure that project evaluations and operational requirements are documented to a professional standard.
- Undertake risk reviews of studies and projects and formulate risk mitigation and management plans where necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high quality, has the appropriate level of detail, is correct, complete and delivered in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the group’s mine planning work includes appropriate consideration of ESG issues and risks.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- BSc in Mining Engineering
- Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- A minimum of ten (10) years relevant industry experience in both technical and operational capacities
- Valid class 5 driver's license
