**Southeast Collegiate** is the only school of its kind in all of Canada. It serves as a campus for First Nations students during the school year - educating students in a beautiful school facility and providing housing in the adjoining lodge.

It is also of the utmost importance to build healthy relationships with our students and consistently focus on and work towards achieving Southeast Collegiate's mission and vision.

**Male Positions Available**

Split shifts

1 FT split shifts available:

- Saturday - Sunday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm & Monday - Wednesday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (full-time / 40 hours per week)

*This position is laid off for the summer months after June 19, 2026. SEC will recall Lodge staff at the end of August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year.

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma required
- At least one (1) year experience working with youth (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under stress
- Basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel)
- Experience working with First Nations Youth (High School)
- The ability to speak a First Nation language (Ojibwe, Cree, Oji-Cree) is an asset
- Willing to be certified in First Aid/ CPR
- Willing to obtain Criminal Check and Child Abuse Registry

**Starting Wage**:$18.68/hour**

**Employees with treaty status under the Indian Act are exempt from federal income tax at SEC.**
