Smitty’s is one of Canada’s largest all-day family restaurant chains, operating from coast to coast. Almost all our restaurants are fully licensed, and a majority have separate lounges to accommodate teams, sports fans, and the happy hour crowd.

Our locations are always looking for experienced **Hosts/Hostess** and talented individuals.

- **Host/Expo - duties include**:

- Coordinates with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure food is ready and delivered to tables at the correct time.
- Facilitates communication between the kitchen staff and front-of-house staff to maintain service flow.
- Acts as the final quality check before food is served, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and prepared correctly.
- Oversees the final presentation of dishes, adding necessary garnishes or finishing touches.
- Create a positive first impression
- Maintain table turnover
- Ensure that all tables are cleaned, cleared, and rest as soon as possible
- Assist service staff and management in providing customers with a positive dining experience
- Maintain guest relations and Smitty's cleanliness standards
- Handling cash payments as well as debit/credit card terminals
- Help pack and handle takeout and delivery orders
