B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.

**Position**

Resource Geologist, Canada

**Location and Reporting Structure**

Reporting to the Chief Mine Geologist, this position requires travel to the Goose site in Nunavut.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and refine geological models and interpretations to support resource estimation and production planning. Update 3D geological models for production purposes and establish modeling priorities;
- Construct block models for grade control and resource estimation. Validate block models against geological controls and mineralization trends to ensure accuracy and reliability;
- Participate in the stope design process, ensuring geological inputs are incorporated. Assist in planning underground production activities and aligning geological insights with operational goals;
- Work with mine geologists to identify trends related to block model performance and develop actionable insights;
- Prepare and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly geological reports;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resource models with mining strategies;
- Support reconciliation efforts by providing insights into resource model performance and accuracy; and
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the geological and technical services team.

**Desired Competencies and Requirements**
- Five (5) years experience in mineral resource estimation and geological modeling;
- Experience estimating gold quantities in an active mining operation;
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field;
- Proficiency in geological modeling and resource estimation software such as Leapfrog, Datamine, Surpac, or Vulcan; and
- Demonstrated understanding of grade control and mining techniques in open pit and/or underground production environments

**Compensation and Benefits**

For informational purposes, the annual salary for the role is $150,000.00.
