**School Bus Driver - $1,000 Hiring Bonus**

SOUTHLAND is currently seeking dedicated and safety-minded School Bus Drivers to join our team. This is an essential role that offers job security, a flexible schedule and allows you to make a difference on the front line by transporting our children to school safely.

**SOUTHLAND is currently offering a $1,000 hiring bonus for all new School Bus Drivers Receive $500 following three months of employment and the remaining $500 after 6 months. To be eligible for this bonus as a Spare Driver, you must be available a minimum of 3 shifts per week or 2 weeks per month.**

**Hours of Work**
- Monday to Friday - no mandatory nights or weekend work
- Split shifts (approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)
- Additional lunch runs and charter work is also available

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class B driver’s license preferred (training provided to upgrade from a class G)
- 3-year driver’s abstract with safe driving record
- Undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination, drug and alcohol testing, criminal record search, vulnerable sector clearance and reference checks
