Manager, Technology Delivery
1 Full-time, Permanent Position
Is This Role for You?
Reporting to the Director, Technology Delivery, the Manager of Technology Delivery is accountable for the selection, design and deployment of high-quality products and solutions for the airport. You will provide leadership for the full cycle of a solution deployment, working collaboratively with stakeholders in the evaluation, design and implementation of solutions which are compliant with our reference architecture. You will work collaboratively with other team members - business analyst, project managers, infrastructure architects and vendors to name a few - to identify and recommend solutions that align with our reference architecture and support business needs.

You might be wondering what you can expect on a typical day at work. Every day will bring new opportunities, focusing on key responsibilities, including:
Strategy & Planning
- Work closely with program sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, infrastructure, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor and track project progress, performance, and budget, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team, driving efficiency and excellence in project delivery.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the project.
- Develop, maintain, and mature a practice framework for project delivery (standards, templates and guidelines).
Formal Education & Certification
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with 7+ years of experience in multiple IT areas.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
