_Job Summary_

The Grace Anne II Yacht & Lodge is looking for a mature professional with a passion for the outdoors to lead our team to provide excellent services for our guests on our Fishing and Yacht Excursions, as well as perform a variety of duties to assist the operations team as required.

The Grace Anne II Yacht & Lodge is a luxury brand that hosts corporate and high net worth private clientele onboard the Grace Anne II and our exclusive wilderness destination, 23 miles southwest of Kenora on Lake of the Woods. Our clients expect the best and we strive to give them unique and memorable experiences. We host many family and corporate groups as well as weddings and private events.

Most working days are 8 hours/day but on occasion 10-12 Hour days may be required while on trip. Working schedule is based on our trip schedule which will be shared pre-season.
- Job Description_

As the Lodge Manager at The Grace Anne II, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations at both of our unique venues on Lake of the Woods. The Grace Anne II, an 85' mahogany yacht built in 1931 hosts culinary cruises, and full-day and overnight charters for private family and corporate groups of up to 8 guests. The Grace Anne II Lodge on Big Narrows Island is a unique and well-appointed private fishing lodge, with a wide variety of amenities and recreations activities for up to 20 guests.

Based at the Lodge, you are the face of the Grace Anne II to our guests and are responsible for the pre-season preparation, excellent trip execution and post-season shutdown. Throughout the season, ongoing general maintenance of property and equipment, communication with Guest Experience Manager on trip details, and leadership and management of your staff for both of our venues form the key components of your position.
- Responsibilities and Duties_
- scheduling staff for recreations/operations throughout the season
- scheduling transportation of guests, staff and supplies to and from Lodge with maximum efficiency; shuttling of staff and guests to/from Lodge as required
- coordinate delivery of guest items and luggage to/from Yacht & Lodge with Grace Anne II stewards and guides
- greet all guests, with special attention to the lead guest, when they arrive at the Lodge / Yacht
- ensuring travel and fuel logs are kept for each boat in the fleet and logged daily; maintain records of lodge fuel tank dips and place fuel orders
- ensuring proper preparation, presentation, service and shut down of shore lunch
- coordinating and providing recreation services requested by the guests as required such as outdoor activities, water-sports, guided hiking, boat rides, and bonfires
- ensure Recreations Staff is conducting daily cleaning and preparation of guide boats using checklists
- assist operations team members (guides, servers, chefs) as required
- maintain inventory records of company assets and ensuring correct storage and maintenance of all recreation and fishing equipment
- oversee completion of new projects, improvements, deficiencies that need to be addressed at properties and buildings
- maintain waste reduction and safety program at the Lodge
- oversee and participate in the completion of indoor and outdoor lodge property maintenance
- maintain records of generator maintenance and conduct routine maintenance including oil changes and filter cleaning
- ensure proper maintenance of main lodge and staff lodge both before, during, and after trips using checklists, including daily walk around of lodge property
- create plan for maintenance throughout the season and for fall shutdown/spring opening
- understand water and boat safety training and be able to perform in a possible emergency situation
- recording all incidents involving physical injury and equipment damage with an incident report
- must communicate constantly with the entire operations team before, during and after trips to ensure that an excellent guest experience is maintained
- Learning the History of The Grace Anne II, being an Ambassador for Grace Anne II and Lake of the Woods
- Expectations_

Experience in different areas of hospitality and recreations (back of house, front of house, guiding and general maintenance) is a major asset. A team-oriented attitude, willing to fill in for various staff positions to ensure an excellent guest experience. Staff management/supervision experience is a must.
- Qualifications and Skills_
- Pleasure Craft Operator license
- PAL license is an asset
- Mininum 3 years’ experience Driving Watercraft
- Experience fishing and navigating Lake of The Woods is an asset

Pay: $5,000.00-$6,000.00 per month
