We are currently hiring for a **SANDBLASTER** at our Huntsville Facility. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and a great work ethic to join our team.

**Job Overview**
This role will involve sandblasting manufactured components, parts and bodies in preparation for our painting process. Other duties will include, but are not limited to, preparing and cleaning metal components for blasting, assisting paint preparations by means of masking or cleaning components, and operating forklift to assist in moving components from sandblast to paint area.

**Duties**:

- Abrades surfaces of metal with blasting equipment to remove adhering sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt to impart a specified finish
- Assist Paint Technician by preparing product for painting using proper techniques, equipment and materials
- Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment. Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition within the area, reporting any concerns and maintenance services required
- Visual inspections and report any visible imperfections
- Ability to follow instructions
- Maintain and clean sandblast area as well the yard storage locations
- Comply with all safety standards in place

**Skills**:

- 1-2 years sandblasting experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools used in sandblasting
- Be knowledgeable in all shop Safe Work Procedures
