**Job Duties**:

- Install, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
- Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials including modified plastics, elastomeric membranes, and asphaltic compositions.
- Install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes, and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
- Install sheet metal flashings around roof intersections, chimneys, and other structures to prevent water infiltration.
- Install and repair metal roofing systems using hand and power tools, ensuring proper sealing and alignment.
- Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers to provide safe and secure access to roof areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes at all times.
- Inspect existing roofing systems to assess the extent of damage or wear and determine repair requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in roofing installation and repair particularly torch-on flat roofing.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with roofing materials and hand/power tools
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

**Working Conditions**:

- Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
- Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Repetitive task.
- Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
