**ASSOCIATE PARALEGAL - CREDITORS’ RIGHTS DIVISION**

**ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Follow up with new client referrals from website and other platforms
- Perform Client Intakes
- Review case files and report to Senior Partner
- Prepare, draft, issue and/or file correspondence including reporting letters
- Perform case law and legal research
- Be able to negotiate with prosecutors and crowns
- Take client instructions
- Provide adequate advice to clients regarding their case files and probable outcomes
- Be able to manage and prepare files for court proceedings
- Must be comfortable in a courtroom setting or via Zoom Court to conduct litigation up to and including trial
**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:
- Must have a valid P1 License and be a member in good standing with the LSO
- Must have valid Errors & Omissions Insurance at the minimum requirements as set by the LSO
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is required. A secondary language is considered an asset, but not required.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks
- Critical thinking skills is required
- Reliable transportation is an asset to this job. Once the courts reopen, you may be required to travel to and from.
- Ability to adapt to changing markets and new environments quickly.

**Salary**: $43,503.26-$84,399.86 per year
