A new career is just a click away **Element5** is looking for a **Machine Operator**, to join our team on the afternoon shift

Workdays/Hours**:Monday - Thursday (3:00pm - 1:30am)**

**Wage: $20.09 per hour & 0.75 Shift Premium**

Element5 specializes in the design, fabrication and assembly of modern timber buildings. We work with solid wood, the world’s most versatile and only renewable building resource

**Education And Experience**:

- 2-3+ years machine operation experience
- Knowledgeable of quality and compliance standards
- Experience working with an ERP system
- High School Diploma
- Wood processing courses is an asset

**What You Need To Work As a Machine Operator**:

- CSA approved Safety Shoes
- Willingness to learn
- We will supply the rest of the PPE required

**Qualifications And Skills**:

- Conducts themselves in a professional manner when receiving or giving feedback/information, whether it is positive or constructive.
- Strong ability to lead, coach, and drive a team to succeed.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to Lift up to 50lbs

**Machine Operator Responsibilities**:

- Operates machinery/equipment as trained to maximize plant efficiency.
- Takes part in the continuous improvement process to improve productivity, cost and quality (provides suggestions, participates in problem-solving, volunteers on committee or focus group activities, etc.) and focuses on solutions.
- Alert supervisor/maintenance of any safety, quality, maintenance or production concerns related to equipment.
- Performs visual and documented inspections on parts as required.
- Maintains 5S and housekeeping programs in area of work.
- Complete regular reports as required.
- Participate and/or lead special assignments when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
