**Loss Prevention Services Limited** (LPS) is the premier provider of security personnel assisting a wide client base with retail stores security and asset protection. LPS is currently seeking **Full-Time **applicants in **Oshawa and Eastern Greater Toronto Area**. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Citizens Powers of Arrest, and Trespass to Property Act and have a security-orientated education, and have experience in the Security Industry. Successful applicants must be willing to work across the Greater Toronto Area as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide support to retail and warehouse environment
- Follow proper procedures and protocols
- Write extensive incident reports while utilizing knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Citizens' Powers of Arrest
- Represent Loss Prevention Services in a professional manner at all times

Minimum Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Minimum 1-year security guard experience (references will be checked)
- High school Diploma (preference will be given to Police Foundations/Law & Security graduates)
- Cell phone with a data plan
- Ability to work on weekends
- Physically fit to walk for extended periods
- High degree of honesty & integrity
- A reliable vehicle is an asset

Compensation:

- Paid Training Time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.50-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 44 per week
