**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a 5-ton truck to transport goods and materials to various locations within Vancouver and neighboring areas.
- Conduct skid deliveries, including loading and unloading goods using proper equipment and techniques.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of skids to customers' designated locations, following prescribed routes and schedules.
- Perform routine inspections of the truck and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professional and courteous interactions with customers during delivery and pickup.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including proof of delivery and other required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and operating the truck.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating a 5-ton truck, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment.
- Demonstrated experience with skid deliveries and handling various types of cargo.
- Thorough knowledge of Vancouver and surrounding areas, including streets, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy skids (up to 50 pounds) using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety at all times.
