Production Associate

Tulsar Canada is a leading designer and manufacturer of pump control panels. Currently we are looking for an energic, motivated panel wirer to join our expanding team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
- Understanding of standard components functions and connection points including terminal blocks, ground blocks, fuses, circuit breakers, switches, connectors, relays, PLC’s, thermal products, controllers, and other components used within control panels.
- Select correct wire type, gauge, color based upon drawings and documentation.
- Assemble components according to assembly blueprints and manuals.
- Ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety, and quality standards, as well as customer needs.
- Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report all safety, quality, or employee issues immediately to Cell Team Lead
- Follow manufacturing and processing procedures, set machine or equipment controls, carry out production and inspection processes.
- Flexible, and able to rotate between different jobs within the production cell, and other production cells.
- Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Select correct wire type, gauge, color based upon drawings and documentation.
- Determine wire routing, cut lengths and insulation strip lengths.
- Print and install wire and component labels and identification markers.
- Wire electrical panel components following wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Install pre-wired panels into control boxes.
- Perform own quality inspections for wiring accuracy, correct component selection.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot at a wiring diagram and schematic level.
- Record job number and time activity through computer tracking kiosks.
- Ensure proper protective equipment is always worn and tools or other equipment is used based on the task.
- Bolt, screw, clip, or otherwise fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment.
- Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories using hand tools, power tools.
