**Résumé du poste**
Le Planificateur de produits fait partie du groupe des Opérations. Il / elle doit coordonner et assurer la gestion des plans de production à court et long-terme. Le Planificateur de produits doit donc travailler en étroite collaboration avec d’autres départements pour comprendre les exigences des clients, les tendances des ventes, l’introduction de nouveaux produits, les livraisons de matières premières et les délais de production pour aligner les demandes et livrables.
**Tâches et responsabilités**
Membre du département Planification et Inventaire Corporatif, les responsabilités du Planificateur de produits incluent:
- Prendre connaissance des prévisions et tendances de ventes afin de générer des plans de production à long-terme conformes aux objectifs de ventes et d’inventaire ;
- Faire le suivi de la production et fournir une liste de priorités aux équipes de production;
- Communiquer les plans de production aux coordonnateurs à la planification et autres départements des Opérations et coordonner les modifications requises;
- Travailler avec les départements d’ingénierie et d’approvisionnement pour résoudre des problèmes d’approvisionnement de composants à court et à long terme;
- Communiquer à l’équipe de Ventes les disponibilités de produits et cédules de livraison pour les clients;
- Surveiller les niveaux d'inventaire des produits et faire des recommandations quant aux plans si nécessaire.

Ce poste requiert une personne dynamique et bien organisée, avec une grande attention aux détails.
- Baccalauréat en commerce, administration, chaine d’approvisionnement ou dans une discipline connexe ;
- Bonne compréhension des concepts d’opérations et de gestion d’inventaire ;
- Esprit d’équipe, polyvalence et capacité de travailler dans un environnement multidisciplinaire avec des échéances ;
- Deux à cinq années d'expérience pertinente ;
- Forte connaissance de MS-Excel ;
- Capacité d’établir des priorités dans les projets et de respecter les délais établis ;
- Bonnes capacités de communication ;
- La connaissance des systèmes basés sur le MRP est un atout

**Position Summary**
The Product Planner works within the Operations group. He / she must coordinate and manage short to long-term production plans. The Product Planner must therefore work closely with other departments to understand customer requirements, product sales trends, new product introductions, raw material deliveries and manufacturing output to align requests and deliverables.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
As a member of the Corporate Planning & Inventory department, the Product Planner responsibilities include:
- Review sales forecasts and product sales run rates in order to generate long-term production plans in line with sales and inventory targets;
- Monitor production status and maintain a priority list for the manufacturing teams;
- Communicate production plans to the planning coordinators and the other operations departments and coordinate changes;
- Coordinate with the engineering and procurement departments short to long-term component issues;
- Provide the sales team short to long-term product availability information and fulfillment updates for key customers;
- Monitor the products inventory levels and bring forward recommendations related to the plans when necessary.
**Required Skills**:
This position requires a dynamic and well-organized person with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Administration, supply chain or related fields
- Solid understanding of operations and inventory management concepts
- Positive team player, ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Two to five years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of MS-Excel
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of MRP based systems is an asset.
