Dorchester IDA Pharmacy, part of Sunshine Drugs Family of Pharmacies, is looking for a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant. Applicant needs to be a team player and a self motivator. Kroll paperless experience is a MUST (1-2 years). Community Experience is a MUST. Fluent in English is a MUST.

Working hours are: Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm, closed weekends and closed statutory holidays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from healthcare professionals
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
- Ability to provide exceptional patient care and ensure their safety
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems and technology
- Familiarity with medical terminology and abbreviations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and prioritize workload
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team. Your responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, preparing prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer care. You will also need to utilize your skills in medication administration and attention to detail. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
