_Nita Lake Lodge opened in January 2008 and is a true mountain retreat. We strive to achieve our mission of 'delivering a luxury mountain lifestyle experience and provide unique and memorable moments for our guests who are at the heart of our business'. Set in Whistler Creekside on the shores of Nita Lake, the Lodge offers guests a mountain resort experience with close proximity to activities in all seasons. The property features 77 luxurious guest suites, a renowned Day Spa, two restaurants and a cafe._ The Banquet Server is a key team member who delivers exceptional experiences to corporate and events clients. Banquet Servers are responsible for assisting with the set-up, execution and tear-down of meetings and events. Some shifts may include food & beverage service and clean up while others may be dedicated to getting the spaces ready for future events. The key responsiblities of this role include: - Ensure the provision of quality food and service. - Analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions. - Maintain awareness of customer needs, continuously striving to create the "right environment". - Adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations, regarding health and safety, food preparation standards, and Nita lake Lodge policies and procedures at all times. - Proactively attend to customer feedback in a professional and proactive manner. - Other duties shall be assigned as required. **Knowledge / Skills & Abilities** - Experience serving / customer service - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Passion for events - Strong communication skills - Serving it Right Certification required - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Must be legally able to work in Canada * **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual Part-time hours: 4-30 per week **Salary**: From $20.35 per hour **Benefits**: - Company events - Discounted or free food - Employee assistance program - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Wellness program Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Tips COVID-19 considerations: All team member trained in communicable disease prevention Work Location: In person
