Blue Mountains, Canada Alpine Ski Club Full time

As a **Terrain Park Attendant, **you will maintain the terrain park, its features and surrounding area, perform general trail maintenance, assist in the daily operation of the Club and ensure safety regulations, the Alpine Responsibility Code and Terrain Park Responsibility Code and etiquette are adhered to. This is a great position for any freestyle terrain enthusiast. High school students encouraged to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- setting up and maintaining signage and fencing
- minimizing hazards and understanding changing park conditions
- maintaining required daily records
- assisting users in the safe use of the terrain park
- assisting other departments with various tasks related to the terrain park or trails

**What You Bring**:

- a knowledge of and/or interest in terrain parks and freestyle terrain
- Capable skier or snowboarder comfortable using terrain park features an asset
- passion for the outdoors and winter sports
- good work ethic and dependability
- to be a supportive team player
- ability to lift, push, pull and move equipment etc. up to fifty (50) pounds
- able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing

**Work Conditions**

This position works primarily outside (winter) including extreme cold and requires prolonged periods of standing and walking on slippery and/or uneven snow or icy surfaces with varying degrees of slope. Team members must always remain alert and attentive. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and use hands to grasp, twist, push and climb.
