Responsable de veiller à ce que les réglementations douanières américaines et canadiennes soient respectées lors du traitement des documents d’importation et d’exportation afin de faciliter le mouvement des colis transfrontaliers. Communiquer avec les destinataires, les expéditeurs et les courtiers pour dédouaner les expéditions, fermer les entrées, résoudre les problèmes de paperasserie et les retenues douanières.

**Essential Functions**
- Complies with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) for on-site package examinations, shipment hold requirements and shipment clearance.
- Researches issues on CBSA bonded shipments that are on hold at Gateway (can include communication with consignee, shipper and/or broker).
- Researches CBSA tracers and responds with clearance information.
- Reviews and verifies shipment information for the United States Customs and Border Protection (USCBP).
- Manages inbound and outbound calls to resolve paperwork issues (including duties and taxes), clear shipments and close entries.
- Performs routine data entry and directs commercial invoices through Genesis System to brokers as part of the clearance process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Scolarité minimum
- Diplôme d’études secondaires. Études postsecondaires en études internationales ou bénéficiaire de la désignation de spécialiste en douane agréé

Expérience minimum
- Aucune expérience requise, expérience administrative dans le transport transfrontalier et/ou les douanes de préférence

Connaissances et compétences
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Word et d’Excel et d’Internet Explorer.
- Bonne compréhension des termes techniques et administratifs relatifs aux réglementations américaines et canadiennes en matière d’importation et d’exportation.
- Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et une grande attention aux détails.
- Bonnes compétences en matière de service à la clientèleConditions de travail

**Qualifications Requises**:Doit être bilingue. Doit être disponible du lundi au vendredi. Poste à temps plein permanent. Doit être disponible les week-ends pendant les périodes de pointe. Les horaires disponibles: 14h00 à 22h30 et 22h00 à 6h30. 3 postes d'associés aux douanes. Must be bilingual. Must be available Monday to Friday. Full-time permanent position. Must be available weekends during peak periods. Available shifts: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM and 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. 3 Customs Associate positions open.
