Pharmacy Technician

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all medication orders are processed correctly.
- Provide support in medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication information.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Assist in the training of new pharmacy staff as needed.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.81-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
