As a member of the Banquet Department the Bartender/Server/Porter is responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests, delivering exceptional service and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.

**Impact & Influence on Guests, Associates and Business**
- Set up/take down of banquet rooms; tables, bars, stages, audio visual, chairs, dishes, linens etc.
- Understand and review Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) to ensure rooms are set as contracted.
- Serve/replenish and or clear food and beverages; plate service, buffet
- Knowledge of menu items including preparation methods and ingredients
- Clean designated areas in accordance with department standards and health and safety regulations and requirements
- Comply with Provincial Liquor and Gaming Regulations
- Knowledge of department cleaning products; this includes complying with all safe handling procedures and wearing required PPE as necessary
- Conduct on the job training to new associates as required
- Other duties as assigned

**Education, Experience, and Skills**
- Hotel, banquet experience an asset
- Food Save Certification an asset
- Demonstrated proficiency in the following core competencies: service orientation, affiliative communication, achievement oriented, adaptability, accountability, positional expertise, initiative

**Work Conditions**
- Hotel environment
- Physical demands include, but are not limited to walking, standing, reaching, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently
- High level of mental effort and attention to detail
- High level of sensory attention; sight and hearing
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Part-time hours: 16-35 per week

**Salary**: From $13.26 per hour
