The Faculty has more than 3,200 undergraduate students and more than 800 graduate students (200 PhD students). The Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing will advance leadership in health equity by seeking to transform practice, education, scholarship & policy, locally and globally. Mission: The Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing generates knowledge and prepares nurses to be transformative leaders and innovators through equity-promoting research, education and practice, locally and globally. **Course Information**: This course is designed to teach students about the administration of medications by various routes. The role and professional accountability of the nurse administering medications will be discussed. Students will learn about various practice standards and best practice guidelines used in the safe medication administration. Ethical considerations will also be discussed. Students will be taught how to correctly calculate medication dosages and develop the necessary psychomotor skills required for safe, competent medication administration, keeping in mind physical, psychosocial, and cultural factors. **Responsibilities**: You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades. **Qualifications**: In person In accordance with the Faculty Collective Agreement, consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications, including qualifications which go beyond the requirements for the position.
