McMan’s Disability Services Program is seeking to recruit a dedicated Team Leader to lead a team of staff who will assist three (3) gentlemen with developmental disabilities, to enrich their quality of life in their homes and communities.

**Hours**:Monday through Friday from 1pm-9pm; 40 awake hours per week. **Position includes on call duties with 7 days of 24 hours per day on call every 6 weeks.**

**Location**: Edson, Alberta.

**What you’ll do**:

- Connect with and develop helping relationships with individuals with disabilities
- Acting as a strong advocate for individuals in the community
- Work effectively as a team with the individual and their support team to help achieve their goals
- Be involved with program creation, implementation and evaluation
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of case management, including support plan development and implementation
- Completion of daily documentation
- Support and participate in recreation and leisure activities
- Staff supervision, evaluations and training
- Perform administrative and cleaning duties relating to the operation of the home
- Participate in on-going program development

**What you bring**:

- One (1) year towards completion of a degree or Diploma in Disabilities Studies or the Human Services field
- Two (2) years experience working within the Human Services field; plus, six (6) months supervisory experience
- Equivalencies may be considered
- Security Clearance Check; including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (from within the last 6 months)
- Emergency First Aid-Level A CPR + AED
- Valid Class 5 drivers license, current drivers abstract, reliable vehicle and $2 Million Liability auto insurance **are required**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer/Word processing skills
- Ability to assist with personal care.
- Ability to implement approved restrictive practices
- Desire to see individuals succeed

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Supervisory: 1 year (required)
- Human Services with case management skills: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Driving License for more than 3 years (required)
