Head Server

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Head Server will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient dining experiences. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the serving staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
- Oversee the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly.
- Train new servers on food safety practices, menu knowledge, and customer service techniques.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Assist in food handling and preparation as needed to support the team during busy periods.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide accurate information to guests.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required; experience as a server or head server is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $12.20-$14.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
