Fleming and Baron (an ASSA ABLOY company) is a manufacturer of steel doors and frames for the commercial and industrial markets. We are looking to hire a Hardware Glazer for our manufacturing facility based in Woodbridge, Ontario.

**Job Summary**

As **Hardware Installer, **you will be responsible for Welding and assembling custom door parts.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Weld and assemble custom door parts as per product specifications.
- install custom options and pre-assembled “prep-kits” suck as lighting, sensors, lock reinforcements etc.
- Read work orders and/or receive instructions from supervisor to determine work requirement.
- Complete required production paperwork and process steps.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Ability to distinguish between different gages of steel
- Ability to lift 30 kgs (75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to use measuring devices, i.e. tape measure, micrometer, calipers and filler gauge.

**Key Competencies**
- Fluent English communication skills
- High degree of customer focus (internal and external)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions

**Physical Demands and Working Conditions**:

- Manufacturing/industrial environment; some dust and noise
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be mobile through the Plant and Warehouse (155,000 sq ft) continuously through the day
