**Position Overview**

As a Supply Chain Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless supply chain operations. This full-time, on-site position involves strategic planning, performance analysis, and regulatory compliance, emphasizing operational excellence and the use of advanced tools and systems.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- **Imports, Tariffs, and Duties Management**: Manage import processes, including goods classification, tariff calculations, and compliance with trade agreements; optimize costs through duty drawbacks and tariff exemptions.
- **Supply Chain Strategy & Execution**: Develop and implement strategies, aligning demand forecasts, supplier schedules, and distribution plans for ethnic food products.
- **Performance Analysis**: Use data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) to evaluate supply chain metrics (costs, lead times, etc.), driving efficiency and meeting annual cost-reduction goals.
- **Team Supervision**: Oversee resources as needed, ensuring team KPIs are met.
- **Supplier Management**: Negotiate contracts with local and international suppliers to secure quality, cost-effective terms.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure compliance with FDA, CFIA, and CBSA regulations, including trademark adherence, food safety standards (e.g., HACCP), and CARM portal usage for customs and duty management; conduct quality audits as required.
- **Resolution**: Resolve operational issues (e.g., customs delays, duty disputes) within set timelines to ensure continuity.
- **Technology Utilization**: Employ ERP systems and data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI) for planning, tracking, and reporting; train staff on system use.
- **Reporting**: Deliver actionable insights via KPI reports, using data analytics to guide leadership decisions.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: 2-3 years in supply chain management, ideally in food production, import, or distribution, with experience handling trademarks, FDA, CFIA, and CBSA requirements.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; certifications (e.g., SCMP) preferred.
- **Regulatory Expertise**: Strong knowledge of FDA, CFIA, and CBSA regulations, including CARM portal usage and duty management processes.
- **Imports and Tariffs Expertise**: Proficiency in import compliance, tariff classifications, and duty optimization; familiarity with customs brokerage and trade agreements (e.g., USMCA) is an asset.
- **Technical Skills**: Skilled in ERP systems, Power BI (or similar analytics tools), and supply chain technologies.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to adapt to varying schedules to meet operational needs.
