**Summary**
We are seeking an AERO SPACE PART DUBURRER to join our dynamic team at MANN MACHINES & HYDRAULICS LTD. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of aerospace parts, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional products to our diverse customer base.
**Responsibilities**
- Mann Machines, Brampton has an exciting opportunity for a Deburrer. This position provides an excellent starting point to building a career within the aerospace industry. The primary focus would be to deburr excess material from the aerospace parts. **Please note, the wage range for this position is $28/hr to $31.50/hr based on experience. This position will be on rotating shifts: morning, afternoon and nights.**
**Essential Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Deburrer’s major activities and responsibilities include the following.
- Deburr excess material from the Machined parts using air operated hand grinders, sanders, chipping chisels, gauges and templates
- Receive work assignment from supervisor
- Use various size pneumatic and hand tools.
- Use air operated hand tools such as grinders, sanders
- Use calipers, templates, straight edges, rule to check tolerances
- Use small hand tools to change cutters, grinders and sanding equipment
- Use tote boxes or hand truck to transport material manually
- Notify supervisor or any job irregularities, faulty equipment or material
- Observe plant safety rules
- Maintain clean work area
**Position Requirements**
- Must be able to read, write and understand English, with the ability to accept and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Physical fitness and dexterity to perform lifting, positioning and moving of parts.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety policy and practices.
- Minor computer literacy is also required to use our internal production system (training provided).
The physical requirements of this job are average. The daily routine will entail standing/sitting at the deburring station, moving parts to and from the department.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00-$31.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
