**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide person-centered care, assisting with daily activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support individuals with specialized needs, including dementia care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Foster a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for individuals supported.
- Encourage and participate in activities that promote physical and mental well-being, tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
- Build meaningful relationships with individuals supported while respecting their dignity and independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care activities, health observations, and behavioral changes, ensuring clear communication with Team Leaders and Program Directors.
**Qualifications and Skills**
**Certifications (required)**:
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
- Current Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Screen (within the last 6 months).
- Adult & Child Abuse Registry Checks (within the last 6 months).
- Current Driver’s Abstract.
- Valid Driver’s License
**Transportation (required)**:
- Access to a reliable vehicle during your shifts.
**Education and Experience**:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Prior experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is an asset but not required.
- Training will be provided to applicants who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.

**Compensation**
- **Hourly Rate**: $17.48 - $19.49.

**Work Schedule**
- Permanent Shifts Available:
- **Day**: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- **Evening**: 4:00 pm to 12:00 am
- **Overnight**: 12:00 am to 8:00 am
- A minimum commitment of two permanent shifts per week is required.
- Work schedules are determined during the hiring process and cannot be modified post-hiring.
