- **Purpose of the position**
Under the direction of his supervisor, weighs, washes, assembles and operates the machinery required for manufacturing. He manufactures products from precise instructions in accordance with good manufacturing practices, procedures and safety guidelines.
- **Main functions**
LOTS PRODUCTION
- Weighs the ingredients used in the manufacture of the products while respecting the procedures in place
- Appropriately uses the bar coding tool
- Ensures the assembly / disassembly and operation of equipment according to the procedures and instructions in force
- Diligently complete the documentation during production
- Ensures daily that machines are in good working order.
- Ensures that each piece of equipment is functioning properly and makes adjustments if necessary
- Collaborates with operators and team leader to ensure compliance with the production schedule
- Is responsible for completing the necessary documentation in the event of drifts
- Participate in continuous improvement to optimize the operation of the equipment.
- Works as a team to resolve equipment operating problems.
- Can do preventive maintenance according to the established schedule.
- Can participate in the development, revision of procedures, operation manuals
- Can participate in teams to improve equipment, processes
- Make sure to follow the production steps as specified in the FMF
- Performs any other related task at the request of his supervisor
- Is responsible for maintaining his technical qualifications and his knowledge of the methods and procedures in force.
- Understands and analyzes the variation graphs of his process and takes the necessary corrective measures
- Performs regular inspections on the machines used
- Maintain the cleanliness of his workstation as well as that of the machines and accessories used.
- Participate in training courses related to his work, at the request of his manager
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL
- Is responsible for the good working order and the conformity of the equipment and the premises.
- Ensures that his workstation is maintained, equipment clean and in accordance with BPF and HSE standards
- Ensures the correct use of the equipment.
- Informs the team leader / manager of any problems encountered
- Respects production standards (TRS, Productivity, Yields).
- Can wash equipment and premises
- Make sure to follow the instructions
- Can verify, complete and transmit batch records and manufacturing documents.
- Takes the necessary measures to preserve the integrity of people, goods and products in the event of an anomaly.
- Can ensure inputs into production management systems
BPF and HSE
- Performs its work in compliance with current GMP and HSE standards, policies and procedures
- Applies HSE directives, procedures and instructions on a daily basis
- Is responsible for declaring any quality / HSE event to its manager
- Escalate issues and suggest improvements
- Knowledge and skills required:
a) Required training
Secondary V or equivalent, DEP or DEC in mechanics, electro-mechanics
b) Languages
French
English an asset
c) Special experience and knowledge
Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry or related field as an assembler-operator
d) Specific technical skills
Technical knowledge of processes / products
