**Cedars Dental** is looking for a skilled and motivated **Dental Administrator** to join our growing team. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
- Handle insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and billing procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support the clinical team in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations
- Provide clear communication and support to patients throughout their visit

**Additional Key Responsibilities**:

- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Manage and verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments
- Process payments, issue receipts, and balance daily financial transactions
- Coordinate follow-up care, recalls, and treatment plan scheduling
- Prepare and submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding accounts
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and clinic protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and reception area
- Communicate effectively with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists regarding patient flow and scheduling changes
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a positive office culture

**Qualifications**:

- **Previous experience in a dental office or customer service** role is required
- Ability to multitask and manage a busy front desk environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and a professional work ethic
- Familiarity with dental software (ideally Abel dent) is considered an asset
