Spartan Response is actively recruiting to fill several positions for Part-Time/On-Call Confined Space and General Labour personnel who will play an important role providing field response across a wide range of our core services to support client projects.

Spartan Response provides full-service capabilities in: Confined Space, Spill Response, Industrial Cleaning, Mobile Pressure Washing and Waste Removal & Disposal, Training and Equipment Sales.

As we operate year-round - 24/7, shifts are scheduled for days, afternoons, nights, weekends and statutory holidays. Customers book our services based on their needs for pre-scheduled projects and/or emergency response service.

These positions report to the General Manager and are based out of our Hamilton office.

**General Position Responsibilities**:
Support a wide range of job functions (based on your qualifications) in:

- Confined Space (Attendant, Rescue)
- General Labour
- Industrial Cleaning: (Facility, Pressure Wash & Waste Pick Up & Disposal)
- Emergency Spill Response
- Ability to submit accurate project work: Work orders, time sheets, reports.
- Follow all Health & Safety protocols (Spartan & Client-Specific)
- Back shop duties (company fleet, equipment, inventory, cleaning etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Post-secondary education: Trades, College or University.
- Team oriented & good communication & interpersonal skills (oral and written).
- Ability to follow Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs & procedures.
- Strong detail-oriented skill set to follow Spartan Response job activations, and complete required paperwork (work orders, time sheets and providing weekly availability to our scheduling team).
- Must be physically fit and have the ability to work in a wide variety of environments (indoor/outdoor/industrial facilities).

- WHMIS
- Working at Heights (WAH)
- Confined Space
- Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Standard First Aid and CPR

**Licenses**:

- Drivers License - Clean abstract (G Class)
- DZ License - Bonus but not required
- Forklift - Bonus but not required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $21.50-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
