**Overview**:
**Responsible for packaging product and the loading/unloading of vans.**

**Expectations of the EOF Packaging Operator**:

- Full knowledge of and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Full knowledge of and compliance with related Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Full knowledge of and compliance with the EOF Work Instructions Manual.
- Ensure that equipment is kept clean and in good working order to achieve highest efficiency.
- Fill and seal containers as required.
- Load and unload packaged and other product from and into vans.
- Inspect vans, supplies, ingredients, and finished product.
- Rotate in packaging group as required.
- Clean in EOF according to assigned cleaning duties.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment as assigned.
- Perform any other related duties as required ie: overtime or extra shifts
- Report any non-compliance to supervision immediately.

**Team Responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively with operations supervisor, operators, logistics, laboratory and maintenance personnel.
- Display positive image and maintain customer focus when dealing with outside groups such as carriers, suppliers, etc.

- Effective co-operation with other employees and customers.
- Housekeeping.

**Skill/Experience Requirements**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Forklift driver’s license.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Good computer / keyboard skills
- Able to consistently lift up to 22.7 kg.
- Valid class 5 Manitoba driver’s license.
- Must be able to work from heights and in confined spaces.

Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
