SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for providing financial expertise, analysis and reporting support to the Siding & Trim Division. Responsibilities include analysis of monthly results, annual budget and monthly forecast preparation, performance analysis and reporting, capital investment analysis and ad-hoc business decision support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

**May include, but are not limited to, the following**:
Assist monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close process by preparing journal entries and related support (rebates, commissions, allocations etc.).
Lead monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet forecasting for assigned plant(s).
Participate in the annual budget preparation (coordinating sales forecast inputs, margin analysis, SG&A planning and cost sharing, consolidated analysis, etc.).
Monitor and drive insightful analysis of plant(s) performance against forecast, prior year and budget; identifying material variances and primary drivers.
Maintain and promote standard reporting techniques and templates for use across the division.
Build and maintain relationships with inter and cross functional partners.
Prepare monthly business performance reports and presentations for division and group management.
Assist in the interpretation and administration of transaction approvals in accordance with company policy, including maintaining approval automation tools and templates.
Respond to inquiries (internal and external) for financial information and analysis.
Provide other financial analysis in support of business decisions as required from time to time.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as and when assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requires university degree or college diploma in Accounting/Finance
Working towards or possess formal accounting designation (CPA)
Minimum of 4 years professional finance/accounting work experience
Minimum 2 years proficiency with ERP system in a large company setting, JDE preferred
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing tasks
Strong communication, active listening and influencing skills
Experience with SAP BPC, HFM or similar consolidation tool an asset
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Budgeting and forecasting in a manufacturing environment
Superior data management and modeling skills
