Bornea Dynamics is a government contractor focused on innovation, efficiency, and excellence. We provide R&D-as-a-service, training program management, and technical services to critical government agency clients in Canada, the USA, and the UK. We are currently seeking a qualified project manager for our research and development department, located in St. Catharines, Ontario. The project manager will report to the VP - R&D.

**Job Description**:

- Demonstrate resilience and the ability to persevere in difficult situations, develop and implement plans to overcome obstacles, and lead a team to high performance levels
- Demonstrate an exceptional ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, researchers, software developers and administrative staff
- Draft administrative reports in collaboration with technical leads and contract management
- Draft progress reports, deliverable status, and other client focused reports
- Track and control project progress, contributions, due dates, and deliverables within a software suite, and generate reports for clients, executive management, and contract management teams

Qualifications:

- 2 years or more project management experience, either in an industrial or academic setting
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in a research oriented role, either as a research/engineer or project manager
- Demonstrated experience managing a diverse workload across several projects
- Experience leveraging Microsoft Projects (Web/Online/Pro), Microsoft 365, and Azure to manage multi-stakeholder projects
- At least 5 years experience in a relevant research field (academic, aerospace, defence, automotive, etc.)
- Experience writing technical reports, articles, or publications
- While not required, a PMP is valuable
- While not required, the ability to communicate in French is valuable
