iPSS is a cybersecurity company based in Ottawa, Canada, established in 2002. We provide cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to clients in both the public and private sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day to day financial operations, including bookkeeping, cash management, budgeting and forecasting;
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses;
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and compliance;
- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO;
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel;
- Identify and assess financial and legal risks and develop strategies for their mitigation;
- Review and negotiate contracts with vendors, clients, and partners;
- Conduct financial and legal feasibility studies for new projects, investments, and business initiatives; and
- Lead and manage finance and legal teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
- CPA designation or equivalent certification;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, legal compliance, and contract negotiation;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis;
- Prior experience in IT, software, professional services or Value-Added Reseller companies;
- Proficient in reviewing public sector contracts for both products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; and
- Proficiency in financial management software and legal databases.
