A Laundry Attendant oversees ensuring that clean linens are supplied to the entire hotel. They are also responsible for sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding linen and other têxtile items. The Laundry Department is a crucial part of our overall operation, a physically demanding job, and one where perfection is the minimum standard.

**Job Requirements**:

- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linen and têxtile items
- Look at all linens and treat stains
- Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
- Take out linens after washing and dry them following the recommendations
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager & Director of Rooms & Maintenance
- Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to management
- Stock housekeeping closets and assist room attendants with the required hotel room linens
- Wrap laundry items for pickup or delivery
- Perform all shift checklist responsibilities
- Update laundry lists and records on a daily basis
- Ensuring facility remains clean at all times
- Follow proper health and safety protocols
- Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles
