Reception - Lamb Learner Success Centre

The **Student Services** department’s role in student success is to create a culture and environment that unleashes the full potential of all the students at SAIT. Our primary goal is to support Student-First Culture, by focusing on student success and mobilizing all campus community members in this shared goal.
**The Opportunity**
The **Reception** position performs front line reception duties for the **Lamb Learner Success Centre** as well as general assistance to the various support areas. The position reports to the Manager, Lamb Learner Success Centre.
- This is a temporary salaried role with the possibility of extension.
**The Role**:
- Schedules appointments and provides first line customer service and contact for students requiring services.
- Provides first line general reception duties for the LLSC
- Appointment reminders to students
- Sends surveys to students following visits
- Provides information and directs students to the appropriate service in the LLSC
- informs staff when students have arrived for appointments
- Help students complete forms for service
- Support for other LLSC service areas
- Represents LLSC at various events/presentations
- Statistical tracking
- Staff kitchen cleaning schedules
- Supports with Health, Safety and Environment activities
- maintains office area and bulletin boards
- tracks use of materials and orders materials and supplies
- updates CRM as necessary
**Qualifications**:
- **Minimum Required**:
- Certificate or diploma in Office Administration; or combination of related education and work experience
- 2 year customer services experience
- Intermediate MS Office Skills
- Exceptional data entry skills
- **
Preferred**:
- 2 years experience in a post-secondary environment
- Knowledge of SAIT Policies and procedures
- Knowledge of SAIT services and programs
- Knowledge of LLSC
**Job Classification**: A5902 - Office Assistant II
**Salary Range**: $39,000 - $44,000
**Hours per week**: 36.25 hours
**Contract End Date**: December 31, 2025 (with the possibility of extension)
**Posting End Date**: January 14, 2025
