**JOB PURPOSE**

Under the supervision of senior staff, the Fire & Life Safety Advisor will contribute to a wide range of projects involving life safety, emergency management, and fire protection services.

The position requires a foundational understanding of building and facility operations, OHSA, applicable Fire and Building Codes, relevant standards, and the building approvals process, including collaboration with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to ensure regulatory compliance throughout project lifecycles.

**JOB SUMMARY**

As an entry level Fire & Life Safety Advisor, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Conduct site inspections, assessments, and reviews, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Under the direct supervision of Senior Project Managers, draft technical reports, drawings and program solutions.
- Develop Fire & Life Safety technical documents based on accurate and thorough data collection practices.
- Conduct administration duties as required, including the maintenance of client interactions systems to ensure proper follow-up and project management standards are adhered too.
- Provide superior customer service to clients.
- Represent National Life Safety Group during client and/or public interactions, presentations, plans, assessments, as required.
- Travel to and from client sites is a requirement of this job.

Performs other duties as assigned.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Residence in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is required.
- Maintain a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and active automobile insurance coverage.
- A dedicated and distraction-free workspace is required to support remote work responsibilities.

**WEEKLY HOURS**

40 hours weekly.

Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Upon impressive performance, there is room for growth, advancement, and improved financial renumeration.

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
