**Overview**:
We are actively looking for an experienced **Marble Shop Foreman **for our client in Vaughan, ON. The Marble Shop Foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations within a marble fabrication shop. This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of marble fabrication techniques, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The foreman is responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and prioritize daily tasks for shop personnel
- Supervise and provide guidance to shop employees, including training and development
- Oversee the scheduling of projects and ensure timely completion
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary materials
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project specifications
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of construction practices and techniques
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience with masonry, caulking, and restoration work
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

Shift: 9am to 5pm (Mon to Fri, Sat: 9am to 2pm)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Shop Foreman: 3 years (preferred)
