**EXCAVATOR OPERATORS**

**T.A. Excavating Ltd.** is a local Excavating & Utilities Placement company specializing in earthworks / underground utility installation of Gas, Electrical, Water and Fiber/Telecom serving Alberta, for 40 years.

We are looking to hire individuals who will contribute to our team of dedicated personnel by bringing their experience and high-quality workmanship to every project.

POSITION**:/ BACK HOE/ TRACK HOE OPERATORS**

PROJECTS: Utility Installation APPROX. START DATE: ASAP

PROJECT LOCATION: Lethbridge

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- MUST provide proof of VALID Class 5 DRIVERS LICENCE (CLASS 1 )
- Provide clean Driver’s Abstract
- Minimum of 2 year operator experience

**ASSETS**
- Understanding of Alb. One Call Locate documentation
- Experience in Underground Utilities environment
- Safety Tickets (First Aid, Ground Disturbance, etc)

Class 1 also

**DUTIES**
- Operate equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury,

property damage or loss of life
- Perform pre trip inspections and daily/ongoing job task hazard assessments
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, etc.
- Report any required or preventative maintenance to supervisor/shop supervisor
- Participates in routine maintenance
- Clean unit as scheduled and/or required
- Ability to read and write to keep daily records

**ABILITIES**:

- Able to work long hours, overtime and possible weekend work in various weather conditions.
- Be fit for work every day
- Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening test

**Salary**: $28.00-$36per hour
