**FYidoctors Vancouver Keefer Place** is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest **Casual Optical Sales Associate.**

The Optical Associate plays a critical role within FYidoctors and is crucial to our success by delivering world-class service to our patients. You'll often be the first point of contact with the public, so you must bring with you your passion for people and your drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience. With your help, we'll continue to have a positive impact on our current patients' health and well-being, as well as the patients we haven't yet met.

This position is a casual, permanent role working Wednesdays and Fridays.

**What Will You Be Doing?**
- Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality
- Informing patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions as well as assisting with the selection of frames to suit your client's aesthetic and performance needs
- Interpreting optical prescriptions as written by an optometrist
- Performing frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear and performing repairs and adjustments to returning patients'
- Contributing to store retail sales goals
- Administering pre-testing services and setting up the exam room for the Optometrist
- Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts as well as billing and payments

**What Do You Have?**
- Ideally, you will have some customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Sales experience is a must
- Experience in the optical world is an asset
- Familiarity and comfort using technology and computers
- Experience with third party insurance billing is an asset
- Experience with daily end-of-day cash out is considered an asset
- A track record of learning new systems and processes
- Conversational in Cantonese and/or Mandarin required
- Professional and approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people
