Geotechnical Drill Helper

**Location**: Edmonton Area, AB
**Start Date**: Week of July 21st
**Type**: Casual/Temporary

All Type Drilling is looking for a motivated and reliable Geotechnical Drill Helper to join our team for several upcoming drilling projects in and around the Edmonton area.

**What You'll Do**
- Work under the supervision of a senior driller, drilling field supervisor, or operations manager
- Take on routine daily tasks, with guidance based on your experience level
- Safely perform assessed tasks independently, and other duties as directed
- Maintain a safe workplace by following risk management and safety protocols
- Identify and minimize environmental hazards
- Set up and prepare for daily drilling operations
- Load, secure, and unload drilling equipment and materials
- Set up and pack up drill sites
- Support the drilling operation: handle rods, augers, casing, and drilling tools; collect and handle samples; mix drilling fluids; carry out basic maintenance; keep sites clean; perform supply counts; basic measurement/calculations; pre-start checks; refuel vehicles and rig
- Operate non-drilling equipment as needed (light/heavy vehicles, cranes, forklift, skid steers, track-mounted utility vehicles, etc.)
- Communicate effectively and work well with others
- Work long hours when required
- Lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties

**What You’ll Need**
- Physically fit for hands-on work
- CSA-approved work boots and hardhat (required)
- Gloves, safety glasses, safety vest, and ear protection (can be supplied)
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Edmonton area

**Job Types**: Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 10-12 days

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 - 80 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
