We are looking for a 310T technician to join our growing Commercial Truck Centre in Carleton Place.

The truck center opened in August 2023 after many years of dreaming and planning but somehow demand has surpassed even our own expectations.

We are looking for a 310T technician who can really grow with us and make Carleton Place their home.

The fleets we service are predominantly medium duty - Cummins, Ford F550+, Isuzu, Volvo, and GM Cube Trucks of course. Experience working with air brakes is considered an asset.

We believe in having work-life balance so we would not expect you to work more than 5 days a week. 4 10 hour shift schedule is also available.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Detecting and diagnosing operating problems in frames and steering mechanisms, engines, transmissions, brakes, ignition, axles, fuel systems, engine management systems, suspension systems, electrical/electronic systems, emission control systems, and air conditioning/refrigeration systems
- Adjusting, overhauling, repairing, and reassembling engines, transmissions, clutches, rear ends, differentials, brakes, drive shafts, and axles
- Using various equipment to diagnose and isolate faults
- Keeping up to date on advances in technology and updating skills as necessary
- Effectively communicating with co-workers, customers, and service managers
- Reading and interpreting owner/operator/manufacturer manuals and service specifications

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to diagnose and rectify faults, as well as experience in repairing hydraulic and electrical systems.
- 1-3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Exceptional organization skills
