**Position**: Seasonal Programs Supervisor**

**SUMMARY**: Reporting directly to Labour & Shipping Manager, the Seasonal Programs Supervisor is responsible during the months from Feb - June meeting distribution schedules and standards and producing products in accordance with applicable customer requirements. During the months from July - Jan, the supervisor, reporting to the Production Plan Manager, is responsible for supporting in Christmas inventory, production, and pre-production for our Christmas program.

Some flexibility is required during our peak periods to support distribution mandates. Availability is required to workdays or afternoons, and potentially some weekends.

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**:
**1. Organize and execute seasonal programs operations**
- Oversee crews daily to fulfill sales orders for seasonal programs
- Oversee crews or line leads for pre-tagging events, Christmas pre-production/production to ensure efficiencies are being met
- Complete daily reporting requirements including efficiencies, hours and output achieved; validate information against production and shipping plans
- Execute plans by complying with established standards
- Ensure quality control checks on products prior to loading racks
- Ensure warehouse/loading area is maintained and cleaned thoroughly
- Understand and explain the field’s concepts, best practices, and procedures

**2. Documentation and Administration Processes**
- Print required materials including, but not limited to: tags, stickers, and tracking sheets for seasonal programs
- Build work orders and load sheets from designated plans or reports to execute seasonal program requirements
- Monitor and maintain inventory records and ensure accurate record keeping for all seasonal programs, including planned vs actual usage, and highlight any potential variances or shortages to managers
- Ensure required documentation for crews or line leads are ready prior to morning start
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office including creating and/or maintaining relevant SOP’s

**3. General Communications**
- Establish and maintain effective communication with staff in roles of responsibility, as well as key stakeholders, to ensure that operations proceed effectively and efficiently
- Support managers through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication as needed
- Communicate daily with manager regarding any potential issues or updates prior to requiring escalation; notify manager when problems arise or if set deadlines will not be met

**4. Other duties**
- Provide administrative support or support other units as directed by the Labour and Shipping Manager (February to June) or the Production Plan Manager (July to January)

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Intermediate - Advance knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Work, Outlook)
- Fast decision-making skills to resolve time-critical issues.
- Familiarity with SAP is an asset
- Thorough understanding of both BTN policies as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act

**WORK CONDITIONS**:

- Fast paced environment
- Work under pressure and in stressful situations
- All BTN farm staff should expect to be physically involved in any farm operations at any point.
- During peak season (April/May and November) staff are expected to work longer hours as well as weekend work.
- Alternate shift schedule - mornings, afternoons or evenings

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- High school Diploma Required
- 3+ years of supervisory experiences
