What does a Cook do in a Long-Term Care Facility?
- Work with the Dietitian to prepare appropriate menus for the residents
- Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
- Request feedback from the residents about food preferences and menu development
- Maintain a positive attitude and resident focus
- Prepare specialized and textured diets
- 2+ years' experience working in a care home, hotel/club kitchen
- Experience in preparing specialized and textured diets
- Food Safe certificate
- Proof of Vaccination
