The Breakfast Cook at Eganridge has the following responsibilities.
- To prepare and produce breakfast, according to company specification all items pertaining to the designated station.
- Cook is responsible to ensure staff maintains work areas in a clean, orderly manner and that all staff abides by policies of the Health & Safety authority.
- Cook must maintain the proper, orderly rotation of stock, maintain mínimal inventory and minimize waste in the kitchen.
- To be familiar with all kitchen equipment, and to familiarize oneself with their immediate surroundings within the restaurant.
- Cook has to be conscientious about reducing restaurant waste.
- Prepare the orders immediately upon receipt and communicate efficiently with the service staff.
- To leave kitchen area completely clean, organized and restock line for following shift.
- Cook must be knowledgeable of all company policies and adhere to them.
- Cook must take direction and work well within a team kitchen environment as well as independently.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
**Experience**:
- cooking: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (required)
